Parts list: 1 x Filtercharger. 1 x Rubber Adaptor. 1 x Cold Air Hose Assembly. 1 x Literature Pack. Fixing Kit :- 1 x #40 Hose Clamp. 1 x #44 Hose Clamp. 1 x #32 Hose Clamp. 2 x Plastic Ties. 1 x “L” Bracket.
1. Unclip the flexi intake hose from the scoop on the slam panel. (Fig. 1) 2. Unclip the air box hose from the Mass Air Sensor (MAS). (Fig. 2) 3. Unbolt and remove the complete air box assembly from the vehicle. (Fig. 3) 4. Remove the 2 bolts on the slam panel and remove the intake scoop from the vehicle. (Fig. 4) 5. Taking the necessary safety precautions remove the Battery from the vehicle. 6. Unclip and remove the 2 breather hoses from the intake hose. (Fig. 5&6) 7. Unclip and remove the throttle housing to MAS intake hose from the vehicle. (Fig. 7) 8. Unclip the electrical plug from the MAS. (Fig. 8) 9. Undo the 3 bolts securing the MAS cradle & remove the complete MAS assembly from the vehicle. (Fig. 9) 10. Unbolt the MAS from the cradle. (Fig. 10) 11. Fit the rubber adaptor onto the throttle housing and secure using the hose clamp supplied. (Fig. 11) 12. Bolt the new bracket to the battery tray using the 2 original bolts. (Fig. 12) 13. If there is a fuse box fitted to the slam panel it will need to be relocated – a suggestion is to tuck it under the slam panel and secure with cable ties. 14. Fit the 2 breather hoses onto the rubber adaptor and secure using the original hose clamps. (Fig. 13&14) 15. Fit the MAS into the rubber adaptor and firmly tighten using the hose clip supplied. (Fig. 15) 16. Bolt the MAS to the new mounting bracket using the original bolts. (Fig. 16) 17. Reconnect the electrical plug to the MAS. (Fig. 17) 18. Fit the filtercharger onto the MAS, rotate the filtercharger to give maximum clearance and firmly tighten the using the clip supplied. (Fig. 18) 19. Carefully expand the flexi cold air hose, feed it to the lower grill and secure in position using the plastic ties supplied. (Fig. 19) 20. Position the cold air hose towards the underside of the filtercharger to finish approximately 10cm / 4″ away and secure using the plastic ties supplied. 21. Taking the necessary safety precautions refit the battery to the vehicle. (Fig. 20) 22. Carry out a final height / alignment check of the kit fitment. Installation is now complete.
